High Desert Opportunity Announces Big Plans
VICTORVILLE, CA The High Desert Opportunity (HDO) Board of Directors is proud to announce a big addition in 2016. For the first time ever, HDO will take its highly-successful event on the road.
On Thursday, October 20, 2016, HDO will host “Discover the Difference” at the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center in Rancho Cucamonga. Discover the Difference is a streamlined presentation that will make it more convenient for attendees from outside the High Desert to learn about the region’s business-friendly atmosphere, and why it is the perfect place for relocation or expansion.
Business and community leaders are excited for the new event. Victorville city manager Doug Robertson said, “I firmly believe if we are attempting to market our region to businesses in the Los Angeles basin we must go to them, making it convenient, engaging, and compelling.”
In addition to the new format, the traditional High Desert Opportunity large-scale event will take place in 2017.
For up-to-date information on High Desert Opportunity “Discover the Difference” visit www.HighDesertOpportunity.com, like us on Facebook, call 760-245-7600, or email info@HighDesertOportunity.com. Ticket and sponsorship opportunities will be available soon.
In its 35th year, High Desert Opportunity (HDO) is the premier High Desert event annually showcasing local businesses and development opportunities for new and expanding businesses. The goal of the event is to support economic growth and stability by attracting businesses and jobs to the High Desert. The region encompasses the cities of Adelanto, Apple Valley, Barstow, Hesperia and Victorville, as well as portions of San Bernardino County.
